Our team of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers its expertise within the Breast Unit of Policlinico Tor Vergata University Hospital.
Our mission is to use our many resources to deliver personalised care, tailored on each patient in need of breast reconstruction. The main goal is to restore breast volume and shape aiming at enhancing patient’s self-confidence and life quality.
Depending on each patient’s history and characteristics, our team is able to propose several reconstructive options such as prosthetic breast reconstruction, autologous breast reconstruction (FALD flap, DIEP flap) and hybrid techniques in which implants and autologous tissues are used together to restore breast volume and shape.
